    As a senior UX Engineer on Garmin Connect I worked directly with product owners to define and deliver the best experience for consumers who use Garmin wearables to stay active, fit and healthy.

    Garmin Connect has a continual list of new features. To support this, I learned to assess the desirability of features by conducting site visits and user interviews to understand problem and identify areas of opportunity for our platform.

    At Olive Street Design, I produced engaging web experiences using user centered design principles for many different brands & industries. I was responsible for mentoring young designers and developers to foster their professional growth. The outcome of my efforts doubled Olive Street Design’s client base and grew our talent pool.

  • Creative Director
    Big Tuna Web   |   December 2011 - December 2013

    When I started at Big Tuna Web, the business was at capacity with little ability to scale larger. I was able to develop a templating system for content, design and development that streamlined the development cycle. The result was that Big Tuna Web was able to go from about 25-30 websites a month to 60 with the same number of employees and resources.

    My day-to-day involved:
    • Designing engaging web experiences with customer experience and organic SEO in mind
    • Communicating advanced technical detail to non-expert stakeholders.• Managing project timelines with speed and excellence.
    • Collaboration and teamwork to get work done efficiently.brands & industries.
    • I also mentored young designers and developers pushing them to grow in their craft.

    The outcome of my efforts doubled Olive Street Design’s client base and grew our talent pool to reduce how many outside contractors we had to bring in on projects.
