About Me
My current work focuses on creating innovative, accessible and user-friendly design by applying gestalt principles and the latest technological advances. I’m currently a senior UX designer at Garmin, though I have also created immersive experiences for entertainment, legal, lifestyle and nonprofit brands. My rigorous process takes feature concepts from the discovery track all the way to delivery and beyond.
- Discovery. I apply rigorous standards to my discovery track research, including developing problem statements and concepts, as well as prototypes and wireframes for user testing.
- Delivery. While refining my work in the delivery track, my focus shifts to producing high-fidelity mock-ups, documentation, redlines and even animation walk-throughs for developers. At times, I even take care of front-end web development.
- Consulting. Of course, the work doesn’t end with the delivery of a feature. I also devote significant time to advising visual designers and developers throughout the lifecycle of a feature.

Our ecosystem had a fragmented ‘personality’ that created an inconsistent experience. This was a result of messages being cobbled together over time from multiple sources. To bring our app to life I assembled a team to craft our voice and tone guidelines. These guidelines serve to help contributors understand who Connect is. The result of this work is a consistent voice and tone throughout the Connect ecosystem.
